This week, the MMC takes a look at a long overdue episode, Clint Eastwood's "The Outlaw Josey Wales". Of course, you can't talk about Josey without mentioning the strange tale of the source novel's author, Forrest Carter, who was actually Asa Earl Carter, a speechwriter for George Wallace. We also go into the film's troubled production history, covering the firing of original director Philip Kaufman, and how Clint's longtime flame Sondra Locke figures into it. Go listen!
